Let me guess? Is it Tony’s G chord which has you holding down the 1st and 2nd string? That’s a toughie. But, it is worth learning because I have run into it in a couple of songs. This is what I do. it might not be correct, but it works for me. Since those 2 strings are using the weaker of your fingers they probably aren’t perpendicular to the fretboard when holding the strings down. If they aren’t, you might be touching the adjoining strings causing a buzz. It takes practice (and pain). Good luck. I’d love to hear how other’s do this.

You fingers will get better with memory. Just give them a little time. I agree the “drop D” lessons are pretty cool. I have missed a couple, but plan on redoing them all at the same time. Keep up the practice.

I have been looking at Metronomes myself. I have one on my IPhone and it’s ok. But, I think i would do better with one of the old fashion ones 🙂

Congratulations on your TACiversary!! Great job. and welcome back from your “issues at home”. I hope returning to the family helps you. Rock on!

I don’t know if you are doing anything outside of TAC? You can go to a site called ultimate-guitar and search their easy songs to get familiar with. You can sort by different tunings, style, Beginner to more advanced. I use it myself when it seems i’m in a rut. Good luck.

Hope you have a lot of fun in this production. I agree with posting a youtube or link for us. 🙂

Your video came out great. Good control over your strumming, very consistent. Love the puppy poking his head in for some encouragement too.

Good for you! What is next on your list? I would recommend the “Fretboard Wizard”. It’s tough, but it explains a lot of what Tony is talking about in some of his challenges. If you get stuck in any part of the course, the community will help you out.

@Loraine , I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I have to agree with some of the other comments. Music may help you through this. Take care.

WOW! Came out great!

ha ha ha….. I couldn’t think of the right word for what your hand looks like when in that position, Yes, contorted!

@Victoria, I have finished the Fretboard wizard and it was very helpful. I’m just wondering if it will be available to me forever? Or do I loose it with the next enrollment?
