| Why I'm Here |
Older than dirt, tried guitar when I was younger but life got in the way.  When I retired my Granddaughter offered me her guitar as she grew tired of it and felt lessons weren’t for her.  I really enjoyed it and played with it for about a year, then took about 3 years  of lessons.  My instructor was also a professional player.  I liked him, took me a while get comfortable, but at the end of our time, I was still playing in first position, learned a few songs in chords , can read bit of music, but realize there is much more to learn.  I been watching Tony’s site now for a while and with the time we have on our hands felt it’s time to try something new.

I have enjoyed music always, folk, Rock, blues, you name it. Â My wife tells me she likes to hear me practice, which is nice, but I would really like to get better for me. Â I have 4 guitars, 3 acoustic (a Yari, a Martin and a Fender). Â The Fender will go to a Great Granddaughter as soon as she asks for it. Â The electric is a Fender and I would really like to learn to play it better. Â I've spent most of me time with acoustics. Â They all found me, I was'nt looking for them.
