Hi Kurt, great job! And congrats on your new friend! You have such a powerful voice and strong guitar skills. Really love your sound and style. I remember your original “Going Back to Vicksburg “ (not sure I got the title right) and thought to myself, as I’m sure everyone else did, “this guys got it!” . Love the way you dive right in and make it happen. Hope to see you soon on VOM or better yet; live!

I’ve been off line for a few weeks and have missed too many VOM performances! Always fun to see what you come up with Daniel. This is an upbeat ’King’ song I need to learn. Thanks for posting!

As much as you’re glad it’s over you must be very proud of your accomplishment(s). As they say ‘nothing good comes easy’. It’s also VERY cool that you challenged yourself to a one and done recording. That’s how it happens in the non virtual world so kudos for practicing for re entry!
Your participation and infectious laughter at the VOMs is always fun to be a part of.
Keep up the good work!

Way to go Dennis! Congrats on the one year benchmark and for staying active and positive during what has to be a tough time for you. I always appreciate hearing you play and sing, especially your originals. Your writing is truly inspiring for me. You always paint a picture that resonates.
Remember John Prine too had throat surgery and carried on with a new sound that we all loved. Just sayin 🤗
As far as playing under a big screen with drunk sports fans in front of you…that merits a free pass through the pearly gates (or at least a free beer)
Maybe we’ll catch up in the morning sessions sometime.
Well done
