| Why I'm Here |
Well….. my journey is not too exciting. I am 54. I was the lead singer in a 3 piece country garage band (if there is such a thing) in my early 30’s. Got my first guitar somewhere between 10 or 12 years old. Took a couple lessons shortly after. Learned about 4 chords that I could strum and make some songs recognizable. Over the years life happened. I didn’t play much. I learned about 8 more chords and am still strumming (limited to the top 3 frets). I currently have 3 guitars. An Ovation Elite Std 6778, an Ovation Std Balladeer LX 1861LX and my newest addition, a 2015 Taylor 326CE. At this point much of my working life debt is finally dissolving to a point where I am seeing some daylight. So I want to reward myself as much as possible with indulging more into the very thing that I love and take so much pride in. Music, singing, and playing guitar. HOWEVER………

I feel going out and spending more money on nicer guitars is not quite warranted unless I learn how to use them at a higher level. I want to appreciate them more than just admiring the beauty, sound, and ownership. So while trying to find guitar comparisons on YouTube, I found Tony! I'm hoping that by joining TAC, I will always starve for more. In the early stages, I'm simply awestruck at how detailed each video is and how much help is accessible. I hope take it in and really accomplish great things for the future! And since Tony has now become one of my hero's in the world, I hope to meet him one day as well. Alright… I'm done rambling. That's it for now.
