I began playing guitar more than 40 years ago, self taught using chord diagrams and playing songs I was familiar with. Never learned how to read music or learn anything about music theory. Then “Life” happened career, family, kids activities etc. would not change that time for anything, but the guitars sat untouched for close to twenty years. Now the kids are grown and busy with their families and I have since retired and the itch to play again came back, so I began playing again but am amazed at how much I have forgotten and the strength I have lost. Over the years I would purchase guitars hoping to find time to play but it never materialized. I now have seven guitars, acoustic: Martin D28, Alvarez Yairi 6 String and Alvarez 12 String. Electrics: Gibson ES335, Gretsch Chet Atkins DC Nashville 6120, Gretsch Electromatic 5422 and Aria Pro with Whammy Bar.
