Started Classical guitar in early 70’s and just picked up steel string in 2020.  I wish to learn how to finger pick a song using Travis-style picking.  I’m totally new to flat-picking and would love to be able to play any song -perhaps jam with others.

What I'm Focused On Now

For the next 3 months, I want to study the fretboard, study 2 or 3 songs for finger-picking the way the pro’s play and just generally improve finger-picking.   My chord progression needs improvement, especially when it comes to barr chords.    Most importantly, I want to improve my approach to playing.  I do all the daily challenges but I need to plan each practice session and then follow through.
