    Happy anniversary! Thanks for sharing. BTW – it’s a good sign if your dog comes in and falls asleep. My dog will run in when I pick up the guitar (even though I’ve just started) or play the piano. She did not care for cello when I played it. She would occasionally come in for drums unless it got too loud! Susie Q is my best audience.

    Thank you for your explanation here. I am a flat out beginner at playing acoustic, but reading this explanation is food for thought for the future. I like to see how people approach their learning.
