I understand, Exactly what I assumed. I do not like to assume, just wanted to make sure I was not missing something (each lesson applications to some particular song). Thanks.

I agree. I have looked for the songs associated with each weeks lessons. I know there are 4 benchmark songs that seem to be somewhat irregularly spaced months apart included in a given months lessons. What I have not found is, how can I tell what song a given weeks lessons are associated. I take copious notes from Tony’s lesson onto a printed copy of the TAB. I have learned that he will casually mention the song within those lessons. You have to listen carefully. The titles give a clue as to the song. One that comes to mind is the week with the Beatles. I still do not remember what the song is. I may have it in my written notes.

Thanks, I misspoke, I’m not used to glasses. I’m farsighted.

YES YES YES, Thank you. I have been a beginner for 50 years (starting my 3rd month with TAC). I drew the first 3 myself. Didn’t know about the other chords. The first thing I do is to take notes from Tony’s lesson onto the TAB for each lesson, and also carefully watch the play, writing notes on the tab for which fretting fingers are where, stroke direction, picking fingers etc. ONLY then can I attempt to do anything with my guitar. I read my marked up tab as I learn the lesson on my guitar. It takes a lot of work. Your tabs will be a great help. I will now make sure I try to draw any extra chord diagrams. A problem that I can’t fix, is that I have difficulty reading the small print TABs (I’m nearsighted). I’m a retired scientist, I may have to get a large magnifying glass and hold it with a chem lab ring stand. Thanks again. PS I have been getting tired of learning, Have been wanting to play songs. Just realized with this week that monthly week is spent learning skills in a real song. THANKS AGAIN.

THANKS for the suggestion, Cadd9 for C. I had actually experimented with changing fingers to make it easier to go from C to G, similar to Cadd9. I am trying to learn TABs, what do the numbers on your chord diagram stand for. All I can figger is that 1 is the index, following down to 4 for ring. In that case, the index and middle are crossed on the diagram. … Like you I have started “playing” late, I’m 75. starting 4th month in TAC, learning a lot. I picked up guitars for short times about each decade, no progress. My son and 2 grandsons are learning. I don’t talk much, playing together would be a fun memory maker.
