Done a lot of singing in my time: operetta, choirs, close harmony. Play a few instruments: viola, clarinet, trombone, bass tuba. Some conducting too. But I can’t do anything really well. I bought an Ibanez guitar when I was 17 and taught myself strumming and fingerpicking. Then I stopped playing except when pushed, perhaps for church, perhaps as a party piece.
Now 60, I’m tired of not playing well. It could be that I’m too late to be much good but I’ve joined TAC to see. Now I’m enjoying playing again.
