Why I'm Here

I’m a retired NASA engineer. Played in my early years, but I’m picking up the guitar again after a very long absence. Interested in alternate tuning styles like Hawaiian slack key , Celtic, and blues slide. My acoustic guitars: Yamaha FG-150, Baby Taylor, Pono O-10, Martin 000-28EC; electric guitars:  Gibson ES-335-dot, Aria Pro II RS, 1958 Gibson Skylark Deluxe lap steel.

I play for personal enjoyment, but there are songs that I've always wanted to learn, but never had the skills. I also want to improve to the point where I'll have the confidence to play in front of others.
