I am a Canadian who is living in Mexico. I have been playing on and off since I was a teenager but have only recently applied myself to learning, mostly since I discovered the Acoustic Letter and then Tony’s site. I only have the one guitar, my used Gibson J-100Xtra. It was a lucky find.

I have always been a music lover and consider my tastes as eclectic. I have been frustrated much of the time not knowing many techniques or understanding what I was doing, self taught. This site is helping to change that.
