What I'm Focused On Now

My goal is to prove to myself that I can apply myself to practice every day at least for ten minutes for 90 days; to realize at least some improvement in my picking accuracy; to be able to do the blues shuffle and the blues baseline comfortably and accurately; to be comfortable with the chord variations taught in the “30 Days to Play” weeks; to start to show some progress in my strumming technique.

I will bring out my favorite songs from the past and start to work them into perhaps a performance level sound.

My Guitar Routine

In a perfect week,…

I will play every day. Even if it’s only for ten minutes, I will play every day.

Due to my extremely variable daily routine, I find it necessary to fit my sessions in. Sometimes it is in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, and sometimes, it’s even in the evening.

Under normal circumstances, I play in my office. This week, however, we’ll have visitors, so my office bec0omes a guest bedroom. So, I will have to upend my laptop and move to my bedroom for my sessions. It’s only for a few days, though.
