Why I'm Here

Total beginner started learning/playing just after my 53 rd birthday.  Always wanted to learn and finally decided to take the plunge. Purchased a new Fender DGS 8 acoustic and own a 1987 Peavey Horizon electric.  I have taken personal lessons fro about 3 months but did not like the direction or lack of direction.  I am getting comfortable with open chords and changing between them.  Sometimes right hand (strumming) fails to keep consistent pattern.  Lots to work on and learn.

Would like to eventually play with others…way to early for that now. Also maybe write a song or two.
