My major goal for the next 3 months (starting May 2022) is to improve my timing so I can play along with jam tracks, YouTube videos, and ultimately with other musicians.  Until now I have been hesitant to try these steps because I am very self-conscious about playing in front of others.

Update (August 2022):  Now just over 90 days into TAC.  My timing has definitely improved, and I have taken solid steps towards those other goals.  I attended a jam session (but didn’t play), also a VOM ( didn’t play either, but did meet some fellow guitar geeks), and have set up a modest recording studio facility in my music room.  Tried a few short recordings, and intend to get more active in this way in order to monitor my progress.  Still not very brave about playing with or in front of others, alas.  So for the next 90 days, I want to record myself regularly, nail down a reasonable rendition of 10 different songs (I have lots that I’ve worked on for ages but never really “nailed down”), and get brave enough to at least post some to the forums and play at one of the VOM occasions.
