Sounded good to me, but I could’t hear the backing track. Keep it going!

Apologies, the video was scheduled to publish at 5:30 central. Wasn’t sure that

instant publishing was a better choice?

Still fiddling with volume levels while recording Wed stuff. Thanks.

Thanks. Wasn’t much but I’m glad to find anything when it comes to improvising.

Ideally, yes. Twin strings are a little easier on my callouses, but a challenge to keep both ringing when they’re picked or strummed. Plus it’s easy to miss the light string in the pair on an upstroke. Sounds pretty to me at all times.

Got a lot more hours in on my six string but playing more twelve since Covid hit 2020 March.

You got a good routine going, Beth! Congrats! The coffee substitute drink is MD/WTR? What’s that stand for?

Thanks to all for the positive feedback. I have played at the Friday VOM a few times and the Scones VOM once. Crashed and burned at least twice, once on the flat picking lead for Beaumont rag and once on a fingerpicking medley. But it’s good to try and I’ll do some more VOM’s when I get a chance.

Thx, Fly. Took me a lot longer for sure. But it’s more fun than ever now.

And it was always enjoyable in the past. Started at 21, and it cost me a few

tenths off my GPA then. So I was young then. Hang in there! Regards.

Thanks! I see by your profile that we have some guitar history in common.I played it so slow that even I can’t hear the Peace Train sound in there, but

that’s what I was playing–best I could remember. It was like listening to a jazz band when one of the soloists inserts a musical passage straight out of another old song.It seemed to fit and I was looking for it because Tony mentioned it in the intro to that lesson.

Sorry, I went along with the publish at midnight default setting at Youtube.

I’m always messing up one way or another when I post anything.

I always used to try and imitate other, better, harmonica players.

Now I’m just winging it and having a blast. Thanks for the positive feedback.

Thanks, Christopher_H. I think that harmonica thing at the end is some

childhood song I can’t put a name on. As a grandpa, I’d like to have a song

to get my 3 grandkids going.
