I’m 65 yrs old. I was born and brought up in Chicago. I got my first guitar when I was 12, an arch-top Sears Silvertone.
I had better things to do back then. I didn’t pick up playing the guitar again until I was 20. I own a 1973 Martin D-35, that
I’ve had for 42 yrs., a 1994 Martin HD-Custom-15, I’ve had for 20 yrs and a 2014 00015M I bought this year. I’m self taught, except from what I’ve learned from others. My playing style is fingerpicking and playing with the tips of my fingers ala Neil Young who I listened to and learned his style and playing techniques. Kind of a strumming-picking style. I’ve never been that good with a pick and taking Tony’s lessons are are helping.
