My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

My trajectory as a guitar player has definitely gone in the right direction and I have been concentrating on learning new material everyday. I need to improv more and take more risks with experimenting and getting out of my comfort zone more.

I have now logged in for 1557 playing sessions and my knowledge, playing ability and overall aptitude of the guitar has improved immensely. I now feel like I can hold my owe when playing with other players and not feel intimidated. Still, I have a long ways to go in my guitar journey and need to keep pushing myself to improve.

I generally play everyday and always enjoy playing in our Library, which has plenty of light and is quiet.

This is where I can play and just Zen. The thing I enjoy most, is when I’m playing, I don’t think about a thing, just focus on my guitar and everything else is tuned out…

Since I last wrote my above comments, I have since retired from the grind! I now play everyday without fail, and at any time I choose. I find when I play, I am playing for much longer periods of time and have a hard time putting my guitar down. I think it’s time to buy another guitar, I’m wearing this one out!
