My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

My goal is to learn and improve continuously. There is no “end” or “achieved goal” because I believe that this is a lifelong journey.

More concretely, in the next three months, I want to

  1. Improve chord transition between C, D, and G to make them smoothly at 60bpm
  2. Memorize position of each natural note on the fretboard
  3. Able to play barre chords without buzzing/muting

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week, I play everyday.

Work Week

    • Three nights – 60 minutes practicing scales or other exercise

Why I'm Here

I’ve loved music my whole life, and played keyboards when I was young.

What I want to get out of TAC, the reason I’m here, is for help in learning guitar, staying motivated to practice every day, and reach a level where I would feel comfortable playing in front of an audience or sitting in to jam with friends. Ultimately, I want to get up on stage and play with my son, a Chicago-based singer/songwriter/musician.
