I still struggle with the sitting position myself but have started to use the classical position to eliminate most of the problems, however, there are more experienced individuals in TAC that can offer better advice.

CADGIRL, sorry I usually don’t get the opportunity to post in the forum. Bill was correct and I should start and will going forward. I had captured the entire course and reviewed it often, as my musical experience was a trumpet prior to guitar. Bill mentioned FWII and I hope he is correct, as he usually is, and I would jump at the chance to revisit. I found FW to be the best source of knowledge and hope it is restarted.

I agree with your assessment completely, however, it took me about 6 months to a year to get on board with Tony’s program. I realize I am not a quick study and find knowledge in every aspect of the entire program. I am getting knowledge from areas I had not previously explored on this website, a case in point is the “Forums.” Previously to this program, I was taking private lessons and within the 6 months mentioned above, I learned more than I had from 2 years of private lessons. For me, learning guitar is an ongoing process and a mindset that needs time and space to develop. As an older player, I find this process perfect to while away the hours and learn at my own pace. I have many “small wins” and continue to develop. Good luck in your journey and also for JoeT.

You are 100% correct and I feel that your journey never be complete but always interesting and fun. Great attitude.

I agree with you this is a journey.

I agree, enjoy each lesson, and the time committed will grow with your knowledge. It is a beautiful journey, to which there is no end.

Thanks, Levi for the excellent and exciting information about the Fretboard Wizard program and knowing that as a user of the original FW I will get access to the new and improved version. I have to honestly say I miss the conversation you used to have with Tony on AT. Thanks again.

I always hear about everyone printing out the material, there is a function to create a pdf and save it to a folder of your choice and this will save paper and give you a reference. The age of 70 is a good thing. Any day on this side of the dirt is wonderful. Good luck with your journey

I would be very interested in your opinion of the book. I can’t wait to hear how you like it.

That would be great. That lesson set the course for my musical journey. I enjoyed it and thanks for the information.

Good luck, if Tony does come out with FBW II, I will sign up as the FBW was the best investment I made. I spend the first 10 minutes on Friday going through the scale and laying out the chords, what a blast. Have a great day.

That is wonderful that you can experience what life has to offer. I go to the guitar center quite often and play and observe all they have to offer. I also watch Alamo guitar on the web and dream, dream dream. I have enough guitars but it is nice to dream, accessorize, accessorize.
