My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

1) Strengthen my chord changes. x32010 C to 320033 G and back x32010 C smoothly. (by 3/31)

2) Work on Daily Challenges and after getting the pattern memorized – focus on the timing.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week I will:

1) Play everyday between, starting between 7:00pm and 7:30pm. (20 mins min.)

2) I will use TAC as a fun way to expand my musical vocabulary.

2a) Use each lesson as an opportunity to work on musical timing.

3) Continue practicing chord changes. (Love is a Rose, Dirty Old Town, Abracadabra, Forever Blue)

3a) Focus on changing from 320033 to x32010 and back.

Why I'm Here

I have been a member of few ukulele clubs and have learned to play both a standard ukulele (tuned GCEA) and a baritone ukulele (tuned DGBE). I have been playing mainly baritone for the last ten years. I also purchased a tenor guitar and tried CGDA tuning but retuned it to be in Chicago tuning like my bari at DGBE. I have gone to a week long music camp 4 years in a row before COVID and joined guitar classes and learned as much as I could using 4 strings.

Some of my respected friends have told me that I need to learn to play guitar. Dave said that learning guitar will really benefit my bari-uke playing. Amy encouraged me to play guitar too.
