I can play basic open chords and can play a few songs.   I am beginning to work on barre chords.   I am somewhere on the spectrum between beginner and intermediate.   I would like to improve to the point that I can classify myself as an intermediate guitar player.   I would define success to mean that  that I could play a number of songs correctly and completely and could hear a new song and master it in a week. I play mostly for pleasure, but would like to get to a point where I would feel comfortable playing with other guitarists.
