My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

Focussing on relaxing my grip to improve speed and accuracy. I’ve discovered that my left hand works far harder than my guitars need, and that my right hand can be more accurate (both pick and fingers) if I don’t think so much. I really need to chill and focus more on the music than the how to.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

A focused 10 minutes on all 5 weekdays, usually in the early afternoon. Practice is always in my home office. Well, really, I pick up one of my guitars almost every day of the week when I’m home. Sometimes I’m practicing what I suck at, sometime I’m just playing to have fun. I’m not a pro and don’t aspire to be one. I just enjoy making music, and I miss it when I can’t do it.

I just moved across the country, and I didn’t have a guitar to play for a couple of weeks. While driving I used my TAC training and did finger exercises on the steering wheel to music on the radio, different finger pairs or singles, hammer ons and pull offs. I also practiced counting, finding the 1 beat, and strumming on my thigh. When driving long distance, the radio, streaming, and CDs are also good practice tools. Time passed as did the miles.
