About Me

It was 1966 when I got my first guitar, a Hagstrom Impala Electric from a music store in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I was in the Navy at the time and the ship was in drydock for some repairs. I had been looking at some Guild and Martin flat tops and was fooling around with a Strat when the owner of the store walked over and put the Hag in my hands without saying a word. It was one of those hallelujah moments when the skies open the sun shines and the choir sings.  Fast forward four years to 1970 when I purchased a Guild D35 natural top for of all things a trail ride. I played a lot of Folk, Country and early rock back in the day. Both of these have been with me throughout life and are still with me today. I am a self taught player that has been away from the guitars for too long and decided that now, at this time in my life was my turn.
