I've been playing (self taught) for over 25 years… My main 'instrument' is my voice, but I want to add more to 'me' than strumming and singing. I want to learn how to incorporate licks, change up chords and inversions of them, and really get to know my guitar. I want to add flavor to the basic strums of G C and D, and put my own touch on songs. I play in a duo and do some solo work, but it gets boring to me so quickly strumming along the same patterns in whatever key, I can only imagine how my audience feels. I want to bring more to the table.
