Why I'm Here

Tried to learn in my early thirties and eventually gave up.
Started trying again about 8 months ago, now in my sixties, and having a great time. Purchased a Taylor 416ce spring limited and really like it. I always wanted a Taylor, and now saving for a 816ce. I’m not musically inclined, and have to work hard for each step forward, but I really enjoy the journey.

It is important to me because I have set certain goals, and every time I can see improvement, I feel like I am getting closer to the goals I have set. Also the more I see improvement, the more relaxed I can play. I know you can always improve no matter what level you play on, but if I can produce joyous noise by myself or with others, I feel pretty good and have a ton of fun.
