Why I'm Here

Played for a few years about 20 years ago on a Harmony beginners guitar. Simple cords in first position with some finger picking arpeggio’s. Purchase some easy play guitar books at that time and learned the basic cords. Although not very good, it was a lot of fun. Like for many of us, life gets in the way and there was little time for playing music, but now with the family grown, I am looking forward to this journey – love the process of improvement. Signed up for the TAC course before I purchased the guitar (“the checkout” cart before the horse :). Thanks to Tony’s great guitar reviews and some additional research, I selected the Taylor GS mini in Mahogany for travel size and great sound. Now just waiting for the guitar to arrive and the fun to begin all over.

Be well my friends,

John

My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

Without getting into details, this has been an unbelievable year and I don’t mean positive. I carve out time when I can to practice and play. I’m doing my best to keep guitar playing in my life. 108 sessions in 5 months…not so good, but it could have been worse.

Quick update: Have not missed a day since March 22, 2021…So much fun and loving the progress.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week, 5 practice/playing sessions of TAC and a mix of working on playing songs and revisiting TAC favorites on the weekends would be great.

For me it is always best to play as the day winds down in the guest/study/home office – quite and comfortable.
