| Why I'm Here |
I first fooled around (and fooled myself that I couldn’t play) with a guitar in the late 70s. I bought my first in 1980, and it took close to 30 years before I really started to think I could play a little. Since retirement, in 2014, I have really worked at it to become just a bit better than a crappy player. I am getting better daily, and I really want to continue my progress.
I love my Martin, although I really don’t think of myself worthy of such a fine guitar, at least not yet. And my Masterbilt is such a nice sounding and playing guitar. Â I play both every day. My Sigma holds a lot of sentimental value, and it does need some work, but I will always have it.

I play open mics here in Fort Wayne maybe once a month or so. I still get nervous, and don't really want to stop that feeling, completely. I guess I want to improve to the point of  being able to sit with most any other player and join in, without looking at tabs or books. I am thrilled to be a part of the TAC community, and look forward to sharing my experiences with you all.
