My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

My guitar goal for the next 3 months is to learn a song. Not just chord progressions. My concentration seems to turn to frustration. Since the goal is to have fun, I find myself noodling instead. But through all of this, I do have a better understanding of the guitar fretboard. I just need to put the fun, the frettboard and the focus back into learning a song.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

My guitar routine usually starts in the early mornings. I log in for the daily challenge. If I have time in the evenings, I’ll noodle around or try to learn a song. I try to put in time on the weekends to practice what I learned during the week, or work on one of the skill challenges. Finger picking!

I usually play in my office/computer room. Sometimes I’ll practice while watching tv, but this doesn’t workout well.

Sometimes I feel that I am more concerned with the amount of log-ins, than the quality of the time spent.
On the other hand I have gained a greater understanding of the fretboard. So something is working.
