| Why I'm Here |
I have played guitar on & off for many years, playing in original bands throughout NYC in my youth. When my wife & I had moved to Atlanta for my job I had not played in several years. When we bought a house my wife wanted us to find a church and soon after mentioned to the music minister that I played guitar, soon after the guitarist left and I started playing in the orchestra – playing off written music for the first time in my life. While I own & play several electric guitars, I pick up my acoustic the most to play and practice on.

It helps keep things interesting as I play & practice. I would also like to get better at improvising to play melodic lines mixed with the chords of a song. I was drawn to TAC through the free Guitar Theory for Everyone video series and then completed the 5 day challenge. The amount of theory I learned and was able to connect immediately to my playing made me realize this was something that would help get me picking up my guitar more often to practice so I could continue my growth in getting better at guitar.
