Thanks for the kind words. I was thinking that way as well. Obviously. I have an old woman in my house. And frankly, I am a bit concerned about how she is doing it. But she is 86 and I am 64. I guess she knows more about it than I do. But I hope when I am 86 that I can stay joyful and active and remember to savor the days.

Albert_D it is very hard isn’t it? I am trying to tell myself to pay attention, and do what I have to do to stay young at heart.

Thanks Skyman! That is encouraging for me. And I agree, that just forcing yourself to trudge along and reach some set amount of time every day, can seem like a job after a while. I am also an oil painter, and this year, I finally just gave myself permission to paint when I want to, and let it sit when I don’t. It gives me time to store up some inspiration so that the next time I’m in my studio, I really want to be there.
Thanks for the encouragement.

Hi @TedB– You made me try this again to answer your question. It seems like I am picking my palm up and dropping it down as I do my down strum. My palm hits the strings right in front of the saddle as I do the down strum. But it seems like it is always a combination of muting, and unmuting as I play. I hope that makes sense.

The crowd would have to REALLY like that song. Ha Ha. Honestly I play for the praise band at my church. Just rhythm and strumming. So I can play some songs. But this one was more of a guitar song with some singing included. It was hard to learn. But more to come for sure.
