Why I'm Here

I have a 1994 Takemine (before Jasmine).  I love the look, sound, feel and smell of guitars and my guitar is lovin’ being back in play.  A very happy guitar though ‘it’ remains nameless and androgynous though more and more I think it is a he.  I’m waiting for ‘it’ to let me know so I can give it a proper name but in the meantime I call it Tak.  I also have access to my husbands 37 year old Ovation.

I'm ready.  I know chords and want to learn the why of them and take my playing forward after a very long dry spell so I can play and sing and maybe even write; who knows?
