| Why I'm Here |
50 years ago, I played a little while in college–about 15 chords and folk music. Â about 40 years ago, i put my guitars aside. Â I had a Ventura E20 and a classic guitar made by Rakutaro Nakade in 1959. Â a year or so ago my grandson suggested i have them restrung and start playing again. Â I did that and started lessons–and last week for my 71st birthday, my partner gave me a lovely Emerson Parlor guitar and i discovered Tony’s webinar. Â I’m now off that plateau I hit and am playing daily.

My playing goal is simple:  I want to be able to make music with a group of friends–i'm developing a sense of rhythm and my confidence.  When I can make a successful "F" chord so I can play in a key other than "G," they will be delighted.
