Why I'm Here

Been playing and addicted to the guitar for about 8 years now. Started at the age of 31 initially on Electric and at the age of 35 after some serious intense practice got myself into a function band playing guitar. Spent about 5 years doing that gigging quite a lot at pubs and clubs and loving every minute. Unfortunately to due to ill health of a amazing member in the band, it folded and to keep myself busy spent a lot more time than normal on my acoustic. Fell in love with it and discovered that that is my guitar playing of choice. The pure sound intimacy of the instrument has just captivated me. Now in an acoustic duo gigging fairly regurlaly and know for sure for the remainder of my time on this planet my predominant playing will be focused on acoustic guitar.

Being in a musical project is great. You have to and get to learn lots of songs, but outside of that I want to become technically as good as I can be. I have managed to improve myself but I don't think its in a very disciplined or productive fashion.

The concept of this package in theory could be perfect for me to push my technical boundaries alongside learning new songs for my musical duo, in a more disciplined structured manner.
