Thanks for sharing this. Persistence is paying off for you. More proof of concept that regular practice is key. Way to go!!

Forget about perfection. Just focus on playing better after 10 minutes of practicing the challenge than you did when you started. Ok to be slow. Ok to miss some notes. Ok to have the hammer ons and pull offs sound kinda stinky. Keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and you will improve. I’m cycling back through the daily challenges in my second year and I guarantee you that they will be easier to master the second time. This stuff works.

Not sure what he said but you FB Wizard is available as a course that you can work through at your own pace as well. That’s what I did and it worked out pretty well

This is great!! Post some links. I think I need to do some VOCs myself.

OMG that is soooooo AWESOME!!!

The finger stretches are really helpful. You will be glad you did this a few months from now as you continue to progress. Your post is making me seriously think about going back and repeating it.

This is soooo AWESOME!!!

Way to overcome the barriers to consistency! BTW its ok to take a day off now and then. Your guitar won’t mind and your TAC peeps will stand by you.

#1 of many to come I’m sure! Way to go!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with playing your electric in order to keep playing. I do find that some of the daily challenges sound pretty good when I try them on the electric. I also find that, while my hand and arm pain isn’t as bad as what you are going through, playing my electric for a break on the weekends helps me not miss any days.

Now I wonder how best to keep practicing this skill…..

Of course today I took on the transposing quiz…not so good…It will take a few tries.
