Why I'm Here

I have a hard time being consistent, disciplined……probably related to my having ADHD! It’s been three years, about, since I first picked up a guitar. Back in “the beginning,” I recall how difficult it was to just hold the thing, remember which string my finger was touching, which way was up. Today, I’m pretty comfortable with my guitar, I just need to get to it on a regular basis!

I play a previously-owned Yamaha 350 something, which was my first guitar, and a Taylor GS Mini. I enjoy playing both! The Yamaha stays in tune more readily, and has more of a “raw” sound than the Taylor, which seems to have more of a mellow tone. They offer different experiences!

Learning to play the guitar is a constant journey in personal growth and enjoyment! I'd really like to learn to play the "acoustic friendly" songs that I love from Led Zeppelin. At present, their sheet music is still beyond me! But, I'll get there! I'd also love to improve my skills so that I can "jam" with others! I am not a performer, or should I say, I'm not yet confident enough to entertain the idea just yet!
