Hi Tricia_Lynn, I’ve just started TAC and the Fretboard Wizard. Have played piano all my life and guitar on and off for about 10 years, with big breaks in between. Never got past playing songs using chords with strumming patterns here and there. Now I’m learning the fretboard and suddenly I know where the notes are and it’s become easier to play and *gasp* even do some improvising! It is freeing and exciting for me, and not as much work as I feared it would be. Helpful that Tony breaks things down into little bite sized chunks. I would think this would help with your song writing.

    Best,

    Elle

If we heart every lesson in the week for that song, we can go back at any time and practice, right?

If Harley has not fled, I would take that as a good sign! Cats can be such critics 😉

Hi Moose408, I am confused by this Day 3 also. I can read tab, but I don’t know when I am supposed to play a single note. It is with every chord that Tony is playing? Each downbeat? We’re not ending at the same time. I did figure out which key each Chord Progression is in just because of which notes worked and which were dissonant, but I’d like to get clear on the timing.
