Why I'm Here

Me? Wanna-be guitar player, coffee indulger, dog lover, future banjo afficianado. I have been noodling around with instruments since I was a wee one. First the piano, then the upright bass through middle school, and then by high school the electric guitar. I stopped playing anything for a long time (if I could only kick my younger self!), but then about 8 years ago discovered the acoustic guitar. But really, Tony and TAC (and the TAC community) have been the true driving factor to really motivate me and get me playing steadily. Nothing but TAC has been able to do this. I love this site and all the positive encouragement and support! The vibe here is incredible.

I am the proud Momma to two guitars. A Takamine EF 444S (my favorite, their “Mini jumbo) and a Takamine EF340  SC. I am listing one of my “Must have” guitars, just for giggles. You know, that list we have in our minds of guitars we just MUST have one day. For me, the top of the list is a Martin D-18. Santa, you listening?!

Good question, but I think the only answer is that I love it so much. I have a natural inclination to pick it up all the time and improve. I think a love of playing and motivation to get better just go hand in hand.
