Why I'm Here

I’ve been playing since I was 13 years old which is way back in the 60s!  Started on a cheap classical guitar and graduated to an Ovation and then onto an electric strat copy.   I’ve always been very good at playing chords, barre chords especially, but never mastered the fretboard.  I’ve had jazz lessons, and blues lessons and retained lots of info but the lessons here on TAC have been very helpful in breaking things down slowly and comprehensively.  And playing every day has strengthened my hands and made me more decisive and quicker.

I have a nice mix of acoustic and electric guitars I’ve amassed over the years.  Favorites are my Martin D-28, D-15, and old Ovation and a Taylor Mini Koa.  electrics include:  Gibson L-4, Gibson SG, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Strat and Telly, and Rickenbacker 360.  My wife tells me I have too many guitars.  To which I say, Nonsense!

Just want to to sound better and have more vocabulary as a player.
