My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I’m emphasizing finger picking skills and the Fretboard song writing challenge. I want to complete Fretboard by June 1, will continue to work on daily finger picking lessons in addition to daily challenges and regular practice routing. My ultimate goal is become as competent as I can in a variety of skills to allow me to move on to song writing and possibly performing for family and friends.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

I play daily for an average of about 1 to 2 hours each day. I do a good series of TAC warmup exercises followed by the daily challenge, then review some favorites from that days course, then a rigorous chord change and barre chord drill. I follow that with a couple of finger picking lessons from favorites, then a variety of songs that are in my pipeline that need work. The end of the session may involve listening to some good music to end on a good note and maybe a cold brew. On weekends, I set aside for additional skills courses, Fretboard Wizard reviews and exploring new songs. During the winter I play in the late afternoon in my man cave. During the summer I play in the morning and evening in the cave or outside on the deck whenever possible for a good vibe.
