Just catching up on posts so missed this when you posted it but lovely sound to this one and agree that the mix of vocals works beautifully. Pardon my ignorance but are you UK or Stateside (or somewhere else entirely)? I should know this piece of TAC lore I guess but intrigued because it’s not always easy to tell from a singing voice. I usuaIIy write instrumentals so this is a bit of a departure for me but the way I think of it is like telling a story. Intro-middle-end. A hook helps, ie Bitter Wine which repeats. But I don’t claim to be a songwriter really. I wrote the music and the lyric just started to come out of that. It is quite different from the Work in Progress so I’m not precious about throwing stuff out or rewriting bits that don’t fit in with the overall piece. I think everyone works differently though.
