Yeah but it really sounds strange when you forget to retune and start playing other stuff. Just one of joys about being an older person (sigh)

Because I am obstinate and a finger picker I have not learned the flatpicking lessons UNTIL I saw something on YouTube where they used their thumb pick as a flat pic. After spasms I started doing it. Voila ( kind of) I am now doing the the flatpicking lesson ok mostly and enjoying using my thumb pick at the same time.

Even though it may seem strange, the very fact that you are showing up daily will in itself start to help wrist position.also, I’m a huge fan of YouTube. You will see many tips on wrist/hand positions there. The car may not be running on all cylinders but it’s going down the road

Thanks for your reaction.for a while when I first came aboard I was all about the lessons and the forums were just a cute little social thing. Now I find them every bit as important and a huge reenforcement for the lessons . I give a Quick Look daily.
