Absolutely and positively Santa Cruz ! I liked martins a lot but when I took the clue from Tony I tried Santa Cruz and won’t switch back. I joined their string club which saved a couple of bucks and gets new strings evey3 months.

id rather have the Martin right there but risk of damage is too high in my opinion so now at least I have something within arms reach
-
yes and when i pick up the super d martin it is so satisfying

Thanks TOC the thought of my super D getting dinged up really makes me glad I got the Squier. That’s for sure
-
Thanks for the reenforcement

I’m feeling that I may have done something right.it’s actually not horrendous for $89 bucks
-
I like your reasoning . I think all you young folks should take that approach 🤠

It’s actually a dreadnaught shape. Gets ok reviews for a cheap guitar. Sure does not like to stay in tune though
-
Got that!for sure

Cool thanks for checking him out.I found him on true fire blues traditions. Btw as always I credit my association with tac for turning me on to all these great and unique players
-
Me too, but he forced me to
-
I’ll say yes on that. It is also an I’m nearing the end of my visit on this earth so I might as well go for it!

You are 100 percent right on all accounts . I still feel that way and now I own it. I do think it sounds a little better than my hd 28 . It is like a controlled power. I too cannot justify the price. I did get a $500 discount because it was the one Martin used to demo at empire guitar.but I figure I really don’t know how long I have left and so I just said “screw it” and went for it.
