So, since I am just starting & this is now the middle of January, my 3 month goal is to:

Play (and have fun) daily for the next 3 months.

Start learning to separate my thumb so I can fingerpick and do walking bass lines.

Start learning fingerpicking patterns and skills.

Start learning the fretboard so I have a clue as to what I’m doing when playing with others.

I think that’s a pretty good list of 1st goals.
