My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I hope to develop the basic skills and knowledge to build from and progress. I would like to smooth out my chord transitions and clean up my fretting, ( get rid of the buzz and dead strings). If I can strum a couple of songs by the end of 90 days I’ll consider it a success.

90 Day update.

I’ve learned a lot and have developed some good habits and routine. I’ve seen significant improvement in all aspects of my playing, except the F barre chord, lol. All in all, I’m pretty happy with the way things are going and excited to see where I am in another 90 days. I can’t really strum any songs yet, which was a goal I listed here on day 1. I’m not at all disappointed though, it may have been an unrealistic goal to begin with. I feel confident that if I focused on a song or two I would be able to strum through them in a week or two and I do try to play along sometimes when I have music playing.

This has been a fun and rewarding experience and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

My routine doesn’t necessarily follow a schedule on a clock. Once I’m awake, I make some coffee and grab the guitar. I’ll spend around 30 minutes with the daily challenge then go into the skills courses and continue with the one I’m working on for another 30 minutes to an hour. Throughout the day I will pick up the guitar and practice with a skills coarse or a weekly challenge 4 or 5 times. I’ll usually spend 10 to 30 minutes each time. I’m probably spending 2 to 4 hours a day with a guitar in my hands.
