I tried it with Mission Bell, but there are only 3 notes to a chord. I liked the way it sounded, but doing it with Lovely Place scares the beejessus out of me.

Brilliant!!!! I’m so impressed with your persistence to keep going no matter what without missing a beat. It almost makes the fumbles sound incorporated into the song. I’m also so impressed with your courage to show us where you’re at in your progress. Maybe someday I will post a recording (I haven’t even recorded anything for my own viewing yet.)

Thanks for the encouragement. Also, I hadn’t heard anything about warm up exercises so far and I’m glad you mentioned it. I have been neglecting to do them since I started TAC. So much going on…..

It’s my second Hotel California benchmark week. Improvisation is my weakest area. It’s all about memorizing where the notes and strings are which seems impossible to me at this point. I get very impressed when I see people playing scales automatically and with ease. Improvements with improvisation will definitely be a test of progress for me.

Thanks, @petelanger. I think my questions were answered and more.

Thanks, @Skyman911. I’m a bit obsessive compulsive, but your comments help.

@jumpinjeff This is definitely a huge benefit for me. It’s like getting to be with Tony to jam every day. I’ve never been so eager to play on a daily basis. I don’t know how much a lifetime subscription is, but it has to be a lot for me not to go for it.

@petelanger I did not know that. Amazing and I will look into it. It really isn’t about money, more about not missing any lesson challenges to do Fretboard Wizard. But if I have a lifetime membership missing a few lessons here and there won’t be so painful. Thank you so much for responding.

Thanks so much Lorraine for the thorough explanation. I started fretboard wizard but stopped when I started the TAC lessons. Not only will I follow through with FW, I will also save your reply to reread a few times. What amazes me about this course is how people are so willing to help each other and also how things unexpectedly start falling into place. Much gratitude. Paula

PS. I’ve had the same thing happen to me with auto texting.

Bravo, PBmax! I’m a newbie and your performance is really encouraging. I especially like the fluidity of your strumming. Thank you for sharing your progress.

Hi! I’ve been playing on and off for 5 years and I’m at about 50 Tony sessions, AND I’m totally impressed with your performance. I’d be very happy to be where you are next time around. Thanks for recording. I’m not sure when I’ll be ready to record myself.

Jumpinjeff, I got most of what you explained, but definitely you answered my question. My confusion was “is it just off the top of your head?” like improvising sometimes means. I deduced from your answer that it can be rehearsed and agreed upon. Many thanks.

Are you kidding? You are a tremendous help. I never knew that rule. It explains a lot. This is my second day and you made it for me. Thank you

@petelanger. So are you saying it is about $400 for lifetime with discount?
