It’s not really something to worry about. Of course you can log in and see what the challenges are. But it’s not like you fall behind, because the skills keep coming back around. However, there are number of traveling guitars and there are options that you might not have thought of, such as renting a guitar.
There was this thread a while back:

@Ron-A I have found a ton of free How to play ___________ on Youtube. Free is good, inexpensive is too, I found Ultimate Guitar will periodically offer their massive catalog for $20 per year so I snapped that up. It was probably premature, I’m not that focused on playing songs at this point in my journey. However, I have gone into it quite a few times to look up chords so it was worth it.
Just recently I looked up the outro to ‘Starship Trooper’ by Yes and it showed the TABS, the chord shapes and has a play button so you can listen as the cursor runs through the TABs. There’s a ton more but that was all I needed. It just filled my heart with warmth, being able to (very poorly) play a riff that I’ve loved for decades, the kind that have led many of us to the guitar and to TAC.

Right back at you @Tricia_Lynn ! Sometimes I wish the forums were a bit livelier, but I think most members post in the Challenge threads and leave it be, maybe they’re unawares! It’s great to see (and hear) what people are working on!

This is great! You ARE a performer! Not that it’s perfect but it just exudes positivity, confidence and fun with a wonderful clarity.

Great place to achieve your goals, which sound a lot like mine! Welcome to TAC, fellow Canadian.

This is darn good! I’m reading first attempt and see that you’re new to TAC, was expecting a beginner type video! NOT!
Well done! How are things up in Ottawa? I’m from Beaconsfield (West Island, Mtl) and went to school on the Ottawa River at Carleton (BA 1984).

Well done! Brings back great memories, of my sister playing and the family would gather around and sing! This was on frequent rotation in the late 60’s and 70’s.

I haven’t worried much about sound quality.
I always use a phone. I’ve been going with the everyday phone but recently I dug out my older Pixel 4a that actually has a nice camera. I put it on a tripod.-

You don’t start the daily challenges until you have completed 30 days and the 5 Day Routine which is an intro to the daily challenges. I would recommend looking at some of the skill courses also, not that you have to go through all of them but it’s helpful to familiarize yourself with what’s there and at the same time work on what seems the most useful for where your skills are at. You can visit these anytime.
Have you checked out the Quick Start Guide? It maps out your journey for you. But still don’t hesitate to ask in the forum if you need clarification!

I loved the movie @jnerney981gmail-com !
I think you nailed it old – coach!
For the record the last time we did Wagon Wheel was the week of Oct 7th, about 4 months ago.
I have indeed made progress since then. I worked through the entire week of challenges this time where as my first time in October I was not able to do the rhythm challenges at all.
TAC has been a God-sent for me. I abandoned several other online teaching programs within weeks while with TAC I’ve been here everyday and enjoying myself. But we aren’t all wired the same way and perhaps it isn’t for everyone?

Which is why I’ve been living in Florida since 1989! I love the snow but not when it’s in my driveway in the morning and I got it get out and I hate the muck on the road, on your windows and all over your car.
