    The OP is MIA.
It’s been an interesting thread to learn what people are working on! I’m looking forward to hearing the fruits of everyone’s efforts! Keep strumming, hammering and bending my fellow guitar geeks!
(the emojis don’t work so going back to old school) :; 🙂

one of them converted to a smiley, lol!

    LOL!

I feel your pain, was absolutely there with you not long ago.

“Fat fingers unite”….HaHa!! what was the movie where they referred to the organist as “mittens”?

This is really great! I was not familiar with the name Townes Van Zandt, however, I am pretty sure I heard this before. I am more familiar with the Van Zant brothers of Lynrd Skynrd and 38 Special.
I thought you played this excellently, there were a few minor hesitations which don’t make any difference at all, otherwise clear notes and vocals.
    Well done!

Wow! That’s just beautiful! Do you know Dominic Miller? You remind me of him with the smoothness of your fretting and finger picking hands. (He’s the guy who collaborated with Sting for decades after the Police split up).

Thanks for posting the Link, Moose! This was your first? A really good debut IMO! Your rhythm is almost perfect, voice steady – these things are hard especially in the beginning! I enjoyed it very much.

The girl is phenom, no need for us to make that comparison. Only posted for people’s enjoyment.

That’s a great interview, I’m a Rick Beato subscriber so I watched this almost a year ago and have rewatched parts of it a few times since:
    “Your Song”
    “The Winner Takes All”
    He has the Midas Touch.

Oh now I remember you Braden: “Wish You Were Here (Sid)!”

How are things in the Great White North? Keep that ‘Floyd coming, bro!

One day I’d like to record “Dogs”! – I’ve had the lyrics memorized since ’78 but it’s way out of reach with 3 tough barre chords and 10 other chords to worry about.

Thanks! I know it’s not very good… my fingers still don’t do what my brain tells ’em to, which makes the voice crack and fade. But I got thru it, so WIN!

I went looking for your Mad World post but couldn’t find it!

    But I did find this:

Sierra Hull – Mad World (Tears For Fears) – DelFest – Cumberland, MD – 5/28/22 (youtube.com)

I wasn’t singling out those 3 songs as the only ones of interest, those were the 3 that I remembered as I was replying. I am interested to hear all of them!
Truly sad that eagles are big time blockers (purposely omitted article and caps, just in case!). You’re right, future generations may not learn to play their songs.

Thank-you for your detailed feedback, you clearly suffered through the whole thing!

Yes, I believe the first one is a hurdle! I already feel more confident about doing more.
