My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

TAC has helped me improve my technique and practice habits.  I now want to focus more on playing songs too as well as singing.  Singing while playing has been a real struggle for me over the years, so that is my next challenge.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

I play every day unless i am traveling and away from my guitars.  On weekdays, I get up early, walk the dog and grab a cup of coffee then sit down to do the daily challenge.  “10 minutes” of play usually turns into an hour but then i have to get to work.  On weekends i try to focus more on open tuning songs, slide guitar, and dobro.

Why I'm Here

Hey folks,
I’ve been playing the acoustic guitar since I was about 17, mainly folk and blues, but a bit of old rock too. I was mainly a finger-style player, both standard and slide. I have always wanted to learn to flatpick and got excited [back in 2014] when I found I could take Tony’s lessons and learn the pieces he plays demonstrating guitars. I have really enjoying learning the songs in the song vault!  Now days I am also enjoying the daily challenge and the banter between TAC members.
