Why I'm Here

Why I’m here….. I am from a large family of 9 sibling, we often spent time singing, playing guitars and ukuleles, we had a lot of fun and I have very fond memories of that time. I also played guitar and sang in our church with one of my brothers. Unfortunately as life goes, our family was split up and I kinda lost my passion to play. The last 10 years I have taken lessons from different instructors as well as online lessons, for what ever reason they didn’t resinate with me. I am so pleased to have found Tony’s Acoustic Challenge because it has rekindled my love for playing guitar. I have been with TAC family for almost a year and am   seeing improvement and my confidence is growing.  I really enjoy the daily lessons, even if I am struggling with a technic. Grateful to have this community of like minded people, look forward to one day meeting some other TAC members and maybe even making music together…

My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I have learned in the last couple of  months a few songs, Freight Train, Billy in the Lowground & Joy to the world, but I have not recorded or posted any of my performances. My goal is to get these posted and get over my fear of being judged, so I can keep moving forward on my guitar journey.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

In a perfect week I will visit the daily challenge mid morning and will review the lesson in my office/ now music room, and give it my best try or ten minutes. If it’s a lesson I enjoy or a technique I am especially interested in learning, I can get lost in playing for up to an hour. I will often leave my guitar on the couch in the living room and will pick it up for a quick play, or practice songs I’m trying to learn  through out the day.
