Man, just playing for 10 minutes is tough onnacouna how painful it is. Might need to hit pause a few days early and see what kinda relief surgery brings. Left (my fretting) arm is first under the knife, which is good, as — not surprisingly — that’s where I’m having the most difficulty related to guitar. So (knock wood) I should be in a much better place post-op. For now tho… ouch.

In the meantime, if I can only memorize the d$%# fretboard, at least I won’t have gone backwards. That’s a whole nutha challenge altogether, and (besides my TBI) I’m short on excuses if I don’t tackle this one. ahaha

Gonna be tough to stay on routine with surgeries now scheduled for left hand/arm next week and right hand/arm soon as I’m cleared to go back in. Whatever comes I’m gonna do what I can while I’m healing-up, even if that means just memorizing the fretboard.
